CRIN-Kenya, founded in 2006, is an independent, neutral and impartial Kenyan organization committed to bringing meaningful and lasting change to the lives of children, especially to those most exposed to risks. We strive to improve their well-being and ensure the effective application of their rights as defined by the Convention on the Rights of the Child and other relevant human rights instruments. To make a difference, we focus on the areas of access to healthcare, Neglect, child labour, and access to justice.
We aim to empower children through active participation. We advocate for the respect of children’s rights, supporting them in voicing their needs and interests. CRIN-Kenya doesthis through colloabartion with different stakeholders namely, Government Depa rtments of Children, Security and Judciary, CIvil Societies and other Non Governmental Organizations. CRIN-Kenya also belongs to local and national Child Rights Networks, and is a member of Kenya Alliance for The Advancement of Children Rights (KAACR), where its Executive Director sits in the Board as the Vice Chairperson
